13th-14th June 2023, CSCOV co-facilitated a political stakeholders dialogue organized by the United Nations Mission in South Sudan #UNMISS in Raja County Of Western Bahr El Ghazal State.
The dialogue was attended by 39 participants (15 female and 24 male) mainly representatives from different political parties, Civil Society, faith-based, business sector, women, and youth groups.
The topics discussed during the two days included updates on the implementation of the R-ARCISS; understanding the roadmap and its key milestones, and working relationships among the coalition government with a focus on assessing opportunities, challenges, and way forward.
The political stakeholders also discussed the importance of enhancing civic and political space for ensuring a peaceful transition, and transparent and fair election.
Concerns about the importance of creating a conducive environment for voluntary, safe, and Dignified returns of IDPs and South Sudanese Refugees from the Neighboring Countries were also raised.
The political stakeholders who participated in this dialogue were able to discuss peacefully and agreed on one Vision for Raja County
